    This is a hybrid opportunity working in the Toronto Data Centre)

    As a Senior Backend Developer, you'll lead the design of sophisticated solutions, meeting user and non-functional requirements while championing microservices and adopting cutting-edge technologies.

    Your pivotal role involves constant refactoring for efficiency, embedding risk and security controls, and contributing to the strategic development of platform architecture.

    Your strategic thinking addresses risks, benefits, and conflicts, while collaboration with peer teams focuses on successful integration points.

    Your expertise encompasses risk assessments, design analysis for new business requirements, and leadership in delivering transformative initiatives within complex global environments.

    Design & engineer solutions and services with embedded risk and security controls as mitigation against threats
    Create strategic solutions that consider the risk, benefits, and conflicts of the situation
    Perform risk assessments of engineering solutions and designs
    Extensive experience in backend microservices and databases
    Detailed experienced in Agile development teams
    Experience in diverse range of IT landscape in a large complex institution and global multinational
    Should have led and demonstrated transformation initiatives in complex global environment and progressive companies
