Job Description:

Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this position is responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of our integrated learning strategy.

With a growth mindset, this role will support the development of strategic and engaging learning content and solutions for all areas of the business and operate as a strategic partner for the continued development of Farm Boy's training platform.

The performance of these duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers and all duties must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.

Major Responsibilities:

Collaborating with various stakeholders and SMEs, help identify business training needs and design learning strategies to help bridge those gaps.
Lead the L&D team on content creation, development and deployment on our digital learning platform, Axonify.
Act as a liaison between the L&D team and the Operations teams for all trainingrelated matters including content development, execution and troubleshooting of training programs.
Ensure consistent collaboration with the operations field support teams to ensure successful deployment of learning strategies and increase user adoption.
Support continuous improvement by identifying digital learning strategies and solutions that are organizationally appropriate and can help achieve desired learning outcomes.
Manage all learning programs and initiatives from plan creation to execution ensuring that all deliverables and timelines are met.
Regularly audit training programs and provide updates, recommendations and best practices to support desired outcomes.
Stay current on new technologies and training innovation and provide guidance to stakeholders on how these strategies can be applied to Farm Boy learning projects.
May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

Qualifications:

Typically requires completion of a postsecondary education with an emphasis in Learning & Development, plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience with learning technologies and Project Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with digital learning tools (including LMS, Articulate Rise and Axonify) and previous Retail experience would be an asset.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to develop solid cross functional relationships.
Techsavvy and comfortable with analyzing data and creating, reading and interpreting dashboards.
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Work & Sensory Environment:

Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
Performing extensive and repetitive data entry.
Exposure to distractions caused by open office noise and frequent interruptions.
Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.
