Job Description:


Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this position is responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of our integrated learning strategy.

With a growth mindset, this role will support the development of strategic and engaging learning content and solutions for all areas of the business and operate as a strategic partner for the continued development of Farm Boy's training platform.

The performance of these duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers and all duties must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.


Major Responsibilities:


  • Collaborating with various stakeholders and SMEs, help identify business training needs and design learning strategies to help bridge those gaps.
  • Lead the L&D team on content creation, development and deployment on our digital learning platform, Axonify.
  • Act as a liaison between the L&D team and the Operations teams for all trainingrelated matters including content development, execution and troubleshooting of training programs.
  • Ensure consistent collaboration with the operations field support teams to ensure successful deployment of learning strategies and increase user adoption.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying digital learning strategies and solutions that are organizationally appropriate and can help achieve desired learning outcomes.
  • Manage all learning programs and initiatives from plan creation to execution ensuring that all deliverables and timelines are met.
  • Regularly audit training programs and provide updates, recommendations and best practices to support desired outcomes.
  • Stay current on new technologies and training innovation and provide guidance to stakeholders on how these strategies can be applied to Farm Boy learning projects.
  • May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.

Qualifications:


  • Typically requires completion of a postsecondary education with an emphasis in Learning & Development, plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience with learning technologies and Project Management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with digital learning tools (including LMS, Articulate Rise and Axonify) and previous Retail experience would be an asset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to develop solid cross functional relationships.
  • Techsavvy and comfortable with analyzing data and creating, reading and interpreting dashboards.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Work & Sensory Environment:


  • Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.
  • Performing extensive and repetitive data entry.
  • Exposure to distractions caused by open office noise and frequent interruptions.
  • Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.
