Description

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Experience working in shored trenches installing various pipe types
  • Installs water, sanitary sewer, storm water, and Hydro/Telephone/Cable pipes, structures and pipe systems
  • Lays out pipe routes, following specifications or civil plans
  • Checks slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers
  • Cuts pipes to required lengths, positions, and aligns pipes during pipeline construction and prepares them for fusing or installation
  • Connects pipe pieces and seal joints using fusing equipment, cement, glue, or pipe soap
  • Grades and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools

Qualifications Required:


  • Construction Experience (required)
  • Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
  • Confined Space Certification (preferred)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Safety Conscious

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$30.00-$40.00 per hour
