Position Summary
The Warehouse & Installer Team Lead position has a dual role:

  • The incumbent is responsible for warehouse duties from managing shipping orders to receiving, stocking and inventory management.
  • The incumbent is responsible for the installation of equipment at customer sites and hires, trains, coaches and directs the Installer Technicians associated to his/her operational branch


The incumbent will act as a resource of best practices for coworkers and ensure the efficient operation of the facility.


Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Warehouse & Installer Team Lead include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Hire, train, coach and develop qualified warehouse and Installer personnel and ensure their proper integration
  • Effective inventory management; receiving, stocking, order processing, shipping, monthly & quarterly reconciliation, and reporting
  • Handle questions from internal contacts regarding orders and equipment installation service appointments
  • Ensure domestic shipping and international exports are shipped with necessary paperwork and using appropriate carriers
  • Perform random manual audits for accuracy and quality of orders processed and invoiced
  • Ensure efficient space utilization of warehouse and general maintenance of the facility, strictly adhering to Health and Safety regulations
  • Work with metricsbased Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for effective management of equipment installations at customer sites
  • Effective management of workflow to optimize Installers' routes
  • At times, may be required to manage a team of Hygiene Service Technicians
  • Collaborate with Service Team Leaders to ensure efficient resource utilization
  • Work with a mindset of "continuous improvement" with a focus of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Warehouse and Installer personnel
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; college/university degree is an asset
  • Three (3) years of supervisor/management experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment;
  • Experience with Salesforce, or similar, is an asset
  • Experience required with Raymond Reach and forklift
  • Valid Drivers License;
  • Clean Drivers abstract;
  • Proof of COVID vaccination;
  • Proven track record of organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Able to collaborate and communicate with various departments;
  • Adept at critical thinking and problem solving as it pertains to operations;
  • Able to work in a team environment, be a selfstarter and be driven by results
  • Experience with route logistics operations

Working Conditions

  • Ability to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.;
  • Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evenings or outside normal working hours and weekends;
  • Required to meet deadlines for inventory management and equipment installations.
