The Club is looking for an energetic and team-oriented individual to join our team as a
Skating Monitor in the Activities Department.

This position reports to the Skating Manager
-
- 3 shifts per week (3.0 hours/shift)._


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Set up and run the signin process for Family Skate
  • Monitor the skating rink during Family Skate sessions
  • Organize broomball games during set times
  • Maintain safe skating environment
  • Ensure skaters follow all Family Skate rules, intervening when necessary
  • Coordinate monitoring duties with other Skate Monitors, providing a solid supervisory team
  • Maintain effective communication with the Duty Manager and Skating Manager

Job Requirements:


  • Strong skating background required any ice sport
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Responsible and organized
  • High levels of initiative and enthusiasm
  • Ability to work under mínimal supervision as well as within a team environment
  • Experience as a referee or program assistant is an asset

Casual


Salary:
$16.00 per hour
