Description
Excellent communication and telephone answering skills required.
Accounting experience an asset.
- Matching of Accounts Payable invoices to Purchase Orders, Receiving slips and posting to accounting system.
- Switchboard Reception
- Mail distribution.
- Preparation of weekly A/P voucher cheque runs & mailing cheques.
- A/P reconciliation to control accounts.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements & resolving discrepancies.
- Filing and archiving
- Printing Time Cards & Time Sheets for payroll purposes.
- Ordering supplies and service for office equipment (fax, photocopier, telephones, etc.)
- Other office tasks, as required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
- receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
