DECAST Ltd.

is the largest manufacturing facility for infrastructure products in Canada, including water transmission, bridges, storm and sanitary, tunneling and engineered precast products.

We are looking for a safety-oriented, motivated forklift operator to join our organization.

In this role, you will ensure the safe operation of our equipment and handling of our products, which are essential to our infrastructure projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Handling, moving and stripping multiple shapes and sizes of precast concrete pieces
Maintain consistent, effective communication
Maintain equipment in a way that follows DECAST policy/procedures and the OHSA legislation
Maintain a clean and safe environment
Perform prestart checks for the operation of the forklifts
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner

Education, Experience & Skills:

12 years operating various types of forklifts
Experience operating counter balanced forklifts
Availability to work all shifts (days, afternoons, and night shifts available)
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Selfmotivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and suggest corrective action
Ability to learn new techniques and adapt to change
