Intermediate Scrum Master | Hybrid working | Contract Opportunity
Hiring an Intermedaite Scrum Master for a premium client of ours.

Functional Accountabilities


Responsibilities:


  • Use Agile and traditional project manager techniques to scope, plan, budget, and resource programs and projects
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (Service Owners, Analysts, UI/UX and Development groups) to help plan and oversee the delivery of sprint releases, focusing on continually improving the team's productivity
  • Plans and manages the activities to negate barriers for the team and help deliver complex solutions that meet business objectives across crossfunctional development teams
  • Seek to translate requirements into appropriate plans with time and costs whilst maintaining Agile principles that will be communicated to the DevOps team
  • Guides and coaches the development teams and assesses the Scrum maturity of teams
  • Manage planning, execution, tracking, schedule, and scope on all projects from a day to day perspective, aligned to management decisions and direction
  • Implement, run and improve an appropriate adaptation of Agile Practice (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP etc.) within the team for all internal and external IT planned work, projects, change and unscheduled work
  • Translate requirements from the product owners/ business groups into plans, working within the product team using Burn up Charts, Story Mapping, Release Plans and Team Velocity to develop them
  • Run effective Scrum Ceremonies and measure, analyze and improve the performance of the team and look at metrics like Sprint Velocity, Technical Debt, Unplanned work, Team Happiness, etc., enabling continuous improvement
  • Conduct Lean analysis such as Value Stream Mapping to optimize constraints and remove impediments

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification an asset
  • Experience with teams creating Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions an asset
  • Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices.
  • Experience with Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) is an asset
  • Outstanding facilitation skills, interpersonal skills, and experience working with multidisciplinary team
  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Experience with SDLC tools like JIRA, and Confluence an asset
  • Must have exceptional communication skills, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to coach the team to reach their highest potential
  • Experience working in complex, multiproject, multivendor, and multiteam environments
  • Selfconfidence to be assertive when taking a position
  • Creative, resourceful, and innovative at tackling complex challenges and resolving problems
  • Airline or travel industry experience a plus, but not required.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • IT project management: 10 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
