GFL Environmental is looking for a DZ Septic Operator to join our growing team out of our Blind River site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Satisfy customer needs for service
Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies
Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections
Complete an assigned daily route as assigned by the Operations Manager
Perform end of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion
Required to lift septic tank lids and hoses when on septic tank routes
May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager
Perform line flushing using high pressure water

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

DZ License with clean abstract
Experience driving manual transmission is considered an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus
Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of how septic systems work
Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve issues
Knowledge of electronic devices (i.e. tablets, EOBR, company 10-4 phones)
Knowledge of industry an asset.
Manual dexterity, ability to lift 40+ lbs required
Ability to work out doors in all weather conditions
