What you will do:


The Project Coordinator, Bridging Program is responsible for program planning, management, and day to day administration of the Engineering bridging program for internationally trained individuals (ITI's), funded by an external funder to Humber College.

The incumbent is responsible for the day to day assignment of work and supervision of program staff, ensuring that the needs of the students are met, and employment targets are attained.

Additional duties include program promotion and marketing, recruiting, and screening of applicants, assessing student progress, providing supports and/or referrals for program participants (students) according to their needs, liaising with community partners and employers, and coordinating student bursaries.

The incumbent works collaboratively with a Faculty at Humber College that is responsible for delivering the technical training in the program.


Depending on departmental need, they may be assigned to coordinate a bridging program other than the one the incumbent is hired for.


What you bring to the role:


Education:


Experience and Skills:

3-5 years of experience in bridging programs, community employment or settlement services.

Knowledge of the Engineering-Architecture field, Ontario labour market demands in the field, and project management principles are considered strong assets.
