Responsibilities:

Reporting to the HR and Safety Manager, you are an HR professional who prides him/herself on the ability to juggle a multitude of projects and create positive employee experiences.
Provide new hire orientation in corporate policies and safety.
Aide in the development and maintenance of corporate policies.
Ensuring the issuance of the employee handbook and applicable policies, maintaining uptodate employee profiles (including training/ disciplinary records).
Assist in updating and completing job descriptions.
Aide in the creation and presentation of training programs.
Track annual job evaluations.
Track employee training.
Track issuance of workplace safety procedures.
Assist in keeping safety boards regularly updated.
Assist with filing and managing of WSIB claims and returntowork.
Keep Safety Data Sheets current.
Other duties as time and skill sets allow.

Qualifications and Education:

Postsecondary education in Business Administration and/or Human Resources
CHRP designation is considered an asset
Strong experience working with MS Office
Previous HR experience would be an asset.
Ability to speak Arabic would be an asset.
