Where You Come In
This role is based out of
Pickering, ON and is a
full-time, permanent, in-office position.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as a point of contact for the IT Department: tracking requests, organizing schedules, maintaining filing systems, and developing administrative process improvements.
  • Keep track of all IT contracts in the MAWC IT service desk solution (FreshService) and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, including invoices and payment processes, in a timely manner.
  • Manage all IT invoicing and support reconciliation with the accounts payable team.
  • Manage the document structure and upkeep of all IT documentation on SharePoint.
  • Update events, notices, and news on the IT SharePoint site.
  • Coordinate with vendors on service, maintenance, and billing issues.
  • Help maintain and keep track of all IT assets, including distribution and return of IT assets to staff members.
  • Help coordinate tickets between multiple IT teams.
  • Manage and maintain IT tracking lists for various services.
  • Maintain licenses and renewal schedules.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including air reservations, scheduling options, hotel reservations, and car rental reservations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • College diploma in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 2+ years of related experience providing administrative support.
  • Experience assisting users with basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operation and use.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with technical and nontechnical personnel.
  • A clear Criminal Background Check is required.
