We're looking for a mission-driven Program Coordinator, Mobile Hub who is passionate about creating more accessible, inclusive, and equitable communities across Canada where people with low vision have unlimited opportunities and can experience life free from barriers and discrimination.


Your Impact at CNIB:


  • Develop, deliver, and monitor existing and new bestinclass programs in Brandon and rural Manitoba.
  • Recruiting and leading an amazing volunteer team.
  • Develop and steward strong and effective partnerships with community organizations that are aligned to and/or can help further our mission, including other service delivery organizations, funding agencies, etc.
  • Be a key local ambassador for CNIB, representing and promoting the organization at all relevant external events.
  • You will build strong, positive relationships with program participants, and seek insight into their unique needs, goals and lived experiences.
  • Work with the SmartLife team, identify and prepare inventory of supplies of SmartLife products to travel to Mobile Hub locations.
  • In alignment with Marketing & Communications and local teams, develop and implement strategies to spread awareness about upcoming Mobile Hubs to both internal and external partners.

Requirements:


Who you are:


Education and Certifications

  • Degree or diploma in related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 12 years of experience in administrative support within a charity/notforprofit organization.
  • Proven time management, planning, coordinating and organization skills.
  • Able to multitask, manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Professional attitude, results oriented, strategic, and flexible.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in using virtual platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
  • Proficient with Client Record Management Systems; particularly Salesforce would be an asset.
  • Personal or professional experience relating to blindness and sight loss is considered an asset.
  • Personal or professional experience working with assistive technology and/or accessible environments is considered an asset.
