About the Role

Position:
Full Time 40 hours/week


Compensation:
$37.13-$43.31 per hour.


Indirect Compensation

  • Extended Health and Dental benefits after the 3 month probationary period
  • 9.31% Pension matching after the 3 month probationary period
  • 3 weeks vacation pay which increases with length of service
  • 1 paid wellness day per year
  • Paid sick time which increases with length of service
  • Reimbursement of Professional Licensing Fees
  • Professional development & education reimbursement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Education and experience_
  • Masters degree in psychology, social work, counselling or related field.
  • Minimum five years experience working in addiction and mental health.
  • A minimum of two years delivering psychotherapeutic counselling to individuals and groups at a recognized institution.
  • Registration with professional association.
  • Job skills and abilities_
  • Demonstrated teamwork, leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Good time and general management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with program staff, volunteers, and nonprofit and government groups, agencies and organizations.
  • Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Other Requirements_
  • Criminal Record Search in accordance with agency policy
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID19 vaccination
  • Valid BC driver's license and use of reliable vehicle
