Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Vehicle Repo Technician is responsible for all duties related to repossessed vehicles.


_ Responsibilities and Duties:
_


  • Identify all repossessed vehicle on the property and check said cars into the system
  • Ensure completion of all documentation is in order for all vehicles.
  • Remove all personal items from the vehicle and log each item for storage or disposal. This may include hazardous items so previous experience in relevant safety training is considered an asset, but the incumbent will be trained as required.
  • Assist with all redemptions in a professional manner.
  • Must have the bonafide occupational physical requirements to perform the duties of this role; able to walk, stand, bend and crouch for long periods of time, able to lift 30lbs along with other basic requirements.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and deadlines with vehicle turnover in 2448 hours.
  • Submit completed reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper follow through on all directives, bulletins, schedules and reports from auction management and corporate sources. Maintain a good flow of information and communication with all personnel.
  • Monitor all shop area conditions, vehicles, property and equipment to ensure they are within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper maintenance and safety.
  • Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance.
  • Able to work alone/without supervision 75% of the time.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment consistent with company policy.
  • Must be willing and able to work in all kinds of weather
    including severe weather,
    cold winter
    temperatures, rain, and summer heat

  • Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential
This is a full-time position that may require OT at times. Hours are Monday to Friday - daytime.


_ Educational Requirements and Qualifications:
_

Mechanical/automotive/inspection experience is preferred but not required. A general knowledge of automotive along with basic computer skills required and excellent communication skills.

Salary is $17-20 per hour. Full benefits after 3 month probation
