We are looking for a Consultant to provide our clients with the best possible service and solutions in the best possible way.


Responsibilities
Knowledge of Safety Engineering standards MIL and CENELEC. Specific experience with MIL-STD-882 and EN5012X

  • Knowledge of analysis techniques such as Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), System/Subsystem Hazard Analysis (SHA) and CENELEC/MIL Standards for Risk Assessment and Safety Case definition
  • Knowledge of reliability techniques such as FMECA/FMEA and associated standards.
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS), FRACAS and risk management techniques;
  • Knowledge of European and/or Canadian Safety Management System (SMS) policy, procedures and framework. As well as supporting techniques such as BowTie analysis
  • Knowledge of project scoping, planning and fundamental project management techniques.

  • Knowledge of Software Safety is an asset
  • Familiarity with railway operations, railway suppliers and general business fundamentals. In particular, familiarity with the Computer Aided Dispatching(CAD) system is an asset.

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months


Salary:
$80.00-$82.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Montréal, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • MIL-STD882 and EN5012X: 5 years (preferred)
  • FMECA/

FMEA:
5 years (preferred)
- railway operations, railway suppliers: 5 years (preferred)

  • CENELEC: 4 years (preferred)
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA): 5 years (preferred)
