Service Truck Operator - Thunder Bay, ON

What's the role?

Reporting to the Store Manager, the
Commercial Tire/ Service Truck Operator_ _**is responsible for responding to highway and after-hour calls on a rotational basis.

They drive a Kal Tire road service vehicle fitted with all the necessary tools and equipment to provide excellent service to our customers by performing front shop service, off-site fleet service and roadside assistance.

Hours:

Full Time, permanent position
Must be ok with rotational on call
Mon
Friday, some saturdays

What kind of person are we looking for?

You're interested in the automotive industry and like working within a high energy, fast paced team environment.
You have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the spot.
You are comfortable and reliable working independently.

Commercial Tire experience (1 + years preferred/ Commercial Tire ticket)

You are comfortable driving and working at night as needed.

You MUST have a valid drivers licence:

You like being active throughout your day and have no problem lifting 30-50 lb tires around as needed

You're always safety conscious, wear your required PPE and follow safe work protocols as instructed.
