As a result of continued growth, PermaCorp has an opportunity for a Operation's Assistant join our team in Edmonton, AB.

***The Operation's Assistant reports directly to the Operation's Coordinator. In this role, the Operations Assistant will provide day-to-day support with projects and estimating in the areas of creating new job files, pricing, managing smaller projects from inception to delivery, and ensuring the ERP system has accurate and up-to-date entries.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the creation of quotations for key accounts
  • Creating trackers, and shipping layouts
  • Creating and booking shipments and monitoring status
  • Responsible for the pricing and project management of short life cycle jobs
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate data entry
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate ERP entries: New jobs, shipping and receiving and any other pertinent data entry
  • Assist with ERP implementation
  • Create meeting minutes for weekly production meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Post-Secondary degree or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience estimating considered an asset
  • Previous Project Management/Coordination considered an asset
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive problem solver
