The Role:

The Network Connectivity Services, Contract Services department provides supporting services to ES staff through financial and procurement support.

The Procurement and Contract Analyst reviews and provides procurement and contract management advice to ministry program areas through a variety of procurement processes.


You are able to work effectively in a team environment, while also independently acquiring or competing the purchase of goods and services.

You are a skilled analytical thinker, an effective communicator, have excellent time management techniques, and thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.


Job Requirements:


  • Certification or diploma in business administration, procurement/contract management, financial management;
    OR:
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in the full procurement life cycle for routine acquisitions.
  • Experience with government's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Experience with updated BC Bid, Corporate Accounting System (CAS).

About this Position:


Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week as per the Telework Agreement.

This is a temporary opportunity until January 1st 2024, which may be extended and/or become permanent.
An eligibility list may be established for future temporary and/or permanent opportunities.
