Project Manager (Research Associate II)

This role requires attention to detail, clear communication (verbally and written), comfort with project management software, and performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD or Master's degree in cancer genetics, molecular biology, bioinformatics, genetic counselling or related field
  • Formal training or certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is a major asset
  • At minimum, 2 years of related researchoriented research experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
  • Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Sheets
  • Experience with online tools, including project management software (Asana) and Google documents
