This role requires attention to detail, clear communication (verbally and written), comfort with project management software, and performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- PhD or Master's degree in cancer genetics, molecular biology, bioinformatics, genetic counselling or related field
- Formal training or certification in project management (e.g. PMP) is a major asset
- At minimum, 2 years of related researchoriented research experience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills required
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to set priorities and work independently with accuracy in a multitasking environment
- Strong Proficiency with MS Office software, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Docs and Sheets
- Experience with online tools, including project management software (Asana) and Google documents
Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
