This role will:
- Sales and Operations Alignment:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer demands and forecast sales projections.
- Coordinate with production and supply chain departments to ensure efficient production planning and timely order fulfillment.
- Implement strategies to improve sales forecasting accuracy and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
- Inventory Management:
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs.
- Oversee regular third party external reconciliations and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, stock movement patterns, and recommend strategies for inventory optimization.
- Vendor Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, negotiating favorable terms and conditions for procurement.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and quality product deliveries, resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic evaluations to ensure compliance with agreedupon service levels.
- Adhoc Requests and Special Projects:
- Handle various adhoc requests from the President, which may include data analysis, preparing reports, or conducting research.
- Assist in the implementation of special projects related to process improvement, cost reduction, or operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Teamwork:
- Foster a collaborative and resultsdriven work environment, encouraging crossfunctional collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence, adherence to quality standards, and proactive problemsolving.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management within the consumer packaged goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of sales and operations planning (S&OP) processes, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and data analysis tools.
- Demand planning experience is an asset.
- Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong teamwork abilities, with a track record of driving results.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to a fastpaced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
