Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Answers incoming cold chain calls and provides quality to internal and external customer service in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Complete order processing duties including data entry, processing customer orders, confirmations or revisions, price changes, inventory control
  • Processes customer orders into Business Central ERP system, and create associated sales orders
  • Work with sales team and customers on accurate product costing
  • Work with sales team to provide costing to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Works closely with the logistics team to address inventory to ensure order accuracy
  • Organizes and maintains a large product sample inventory and provides support to sales team where needed
  • Identifying/ upselling sales opportunities and making product recommendations
  • Being informed of the cold chain products and service
  • Stay up to date with new products and services
  • Assists with problem resolution on damages, returns, incorrect shipments and packaging issues, escalating to appropriate manager where required
  • Tracks shipments and ensures order accuracy
  • Provides order acknowledgement, and tracking information to customers

Skills and Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years proven work experience in Customer Service or Inside Sales
  • Sales experience would be an asset
  • Strong organizational & communication skills
  • The ability to accurately understand verbal and written communication and respond with the most effective and accurate course of action
  • People oriented and experience in rapport building
  • Clear communication and active listening
  • The ability to manage several projects at once while setting specific goals & timelines for completion
  • Proficient computer and data tracking skills, previous knowledge of Customer Management systems an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

  • Secondary School (preferred)
