JOB OVERVIEW:


The individual in this role is accountable for overseeing and supporting specialized departmental functions following established policies, processes, and procedures. They will serve as a point of contact for SaskPower employees in the day-to-day management of a department/center.

This position will involve planning, creating, implementing, and managing business processes, tools, and reports to enhance metrics development and enhance departmental/functional performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Serve as the primary contact for all corporate employees, offering guidance and consultation based on specified departmental processes and procedures
  • Lead or participate in the management, upkeep, and delivery of business processes, procedures, and training materials, including corporate information systems and databases
  • Develop and administer departmental reports, corporate data, and other specialized programs as necessary
  • Gather costing information to support the preparation and distribution of departmental budgets
  • Assist with general project and administrative duties as needed, including compiling basic financial and statistical information, project updates, and status reports
  • Aid departmental staff in designing training content and support in the organization of employee training sessions when required
  • Resolve issues, implement decisions, and work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Provide meeting materials to facilitate and create, modify, and/or deliver presentations as needed
  • Engage in ongoing educational and professional development as needed
  • Perform other relevant tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:


  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Business Administration, or equivalent AND/OR;
  • Relevant professional credentials/certification/coursework in a related field, or equivalent AND/OR;
  • Three (3) years of relevant communication experience in supporting and managing advertising, promotional, planning, and media projects, programs, or processes, or equivalent
  • Ability to collaborate and effectively interact with individuals
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capability to fulfill tasks with minimal guidance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
