Our enthusiastic Team needs another positive member to deliver quality performance within our dealership, and to our customers. Our current Administration & Accounting Assistant is looking to retire, which is why we need YOUReporting to, and working with the Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting administration staff with day-to-day processes, such as processing daily business general ledger transactions from all departments, banking, and reconciliation of accounts
- Performing duties related to accounts payable and receivable, including statement and payment preparation, payment processing
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly government and related remittance
- Assist Controller with time sensitive internal controls and reporting
- Assist Controller with finalizing Monthly Financial Statement, and Year End Processes
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Automotive Business, or a related field (OR) 2+ years accounting experience in a dealership
- Excellent Accounting knowledge/experience, within automotive environment preferred
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
- Timemanagement skills required to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly deadlines
- Positive attitude with selfinitiative to work independently as required to complete tasks, as well as contribute to a team environment to achieve common goals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with PBS or Tekion is an asset
