Our enthusiastic Team needs another positive member to deliver quality performance within our dealership, and to our customers. Our current Administration & Accounting Assistant is looking to retire, which is why we need YOU

Reporting to, and working with the Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting administration staff with day-to-day processes, such as processing daily business general ledger transactions from all departments, banking, and reconciliation of accounts
  • Performing duties related to accounts payable and receivable, including statement and payment preparation, payment processing
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly government and related remittance
  • Assist Controller with time sensitive internal controls and reporting
  • Assist Controller with finalizing Monthly Financial Statement, and Year End Processes

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Automotive Business, or a related field (OR) 2+ years accounting experience in a dealership
  • Excellent Accounting knowledge/experience, within automotive environment preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Timemanagement skills required to meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly deadlines
  • Positive attitude with selfinitiative to work independently as required to complete tasks, as well as contribute to a team environment to achieve common goals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with PBS or Tekion is an asset
