Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (

PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations.

Global Gourmet Foods is a federally registered food manufacturer who supplies premium kettle products to key accounts in both domestic and export markets.


Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator will be a generalist role with responsible for full spectrum HR operations.


Main Duties:


  • Maintains accurate, uptodate HR filing systems and other confidential forms and records and providing administrative support in all human resources areas
  • Track and ensure the employee hours are complete, accurate and current into time and attendance system; prepare the summary of employee hours on bimonthly basis
  • Assist department supervisors/ managers on the interpretation and administration of existing policies, benefit program, employee referral programs and creating, updating and implementing new policies that may be required
  • Support the Health and Safety committee by keeping minutes and during the monthly meetings and other tasks and projects
  • Respond and assist employees with inquiries related to pay, benefits and other general questions

Qualifications and Employment requirements:


  • Completion of degree in Business Administration and/or Human Resource Management is preferred
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR administrative and/or recruitment role
  • Working towards CPHR is an asset
  • Experience in working with Canada employment regulations is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and acute attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Ability to work independently with a minimum supervision in a fastpaced environment while managing tasks effectively in a team environment
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to work in an environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to work with diverse employees and be comfortable dealing with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of WorkSafe BC and Occupational Health and Safety is considered an asset
  • Possible different work locations in Richmond and Surrey
