As a Production Assembler, you'll be responsible for performing manual labor and set up in the assembly of lighting fixtures and related parts using hand and air tools and a variety of related production machinery.

Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm


Salary:
$18.09 per hour

What you'll do- Efficient and safe use of hand, power and measuring tools- Efficient and safe operation and set up of production equipment and machinery- Assembles and sub assembles lighting fixtures and related components (mechanical and electrical)- Tests and packages assemblies and components- Makes inventory transactions with the efficient use of scanners and computer equipment- Responsible for work station organization, cleanliness and maintenance of tools and equipment; maintains 5S principles and standards

Your qualifications- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.

This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.- Good communication skills.- Manual dexterity required for assembly and machine operations- Basic computer skills for inventory transactions, data entry and record keeping- Ability to fulfill physical requirements including standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.


To be eligible for this position, you must legally be permitted to work in Canada and travel within North America, without any additional sponsorship support from Signify.
