  • Maintain liaison with developers, builders, architects, municipal Planning Departments, consulting engineers and heating contractors, as well as the resolution of their enquiries and escalations.
  • Identify Permit Requirements conservation authority, land requirements, easement, title search, pipeline permits.
  • Coordinate and process gas availability and load sheet information to specify service and meter requirements and locations for alterations and added load customers, ensuring that all applicable feasibility parameters are met.
  • Ability to work under pressure, independently, using good judgement to prioritize workloads and meet required deadlines.
  • Demonstrate previous excellent customer contact experience, including being able to interface and communicate both verbally and through written correspondence with customers, heating contractors, developers, municipalities etc.

Skills and Experience:


  • Demonstrate previous Sales or Marketing related experience and an aptitude for sales.
  • Demonstrated PC skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Results oriented; able to manage many different tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance, focused on providing excellent customer service.

Knowledge and Education:


  • Physically capable of performing all aspects of the job e.g. climbing ladders etc.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to be used for business purposes.
  • Minimum Post Secondary education or equivalent.

Nice to Haves:


  • Working knowledge of legal plans and construction drawings interpretation
  • Working at heights, WHMIS, First-Aid & CPR are all considered to be an asset.
  • Gas fitters II License
  • Knowledge of B149 Gas Code and Gas Pipeline Inspector Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of distribution system design principles and service installation guidelines (pipelines and stations)
