Job Description:
The IT Product Owner represents the voice of the customer to the team. The Product Owner maximizes value of product created by Agile team. Owns the articulation and prioritization of backlog in small increments of value that can be delivered in short iterations. Drives value to the business by building and maintaining a product backlog in collaboration with stakeholder and delivery teams. Contributes to shaping the product direction, creating the feature(s), writing user stories, and innovation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires mínimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prioritize and maintain sprint backlog, balancing requirements from Product Manager, and works with internal teams
Collaborate with Agile team partners to develop campaign roadmaps and determine requirements
Translate business priorities to technical team members
Understand customer needs and validate solutions developed by the delivery team
Confirm product quality requirements are met
Develop/review/approve user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
Conduct daytoday interaction with the Development Team and the Scrum Master
Conduct user interviews/focus groups and collect feedback and present back to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Agile experience
Requirements documentation/story creation experience
Demonstrated experience in conducting user interviews/focus groups
Possesses high attention to detail with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Demonstrated skills leading and/or influencing crossfunctional teams
Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationshipbuilding skills, including the ability to engage many diverse stakeholders and SMEs

Ideal applicant will be located in the Eastern or Central time zones. Applicant will need to attend meetings that occur early in the morning EST with our offshore developers.
