Job Summary:

The Asst. Service Manager is tasked with ensuring the dealership's service department runs in a customer-friendly, productive, and profitable manner.

This is accomplished by cultivating relationships with customers, optimizing productivity, creating a positive work atmosphere, and managing the department's resources effectively.

The Asst. Service Manager reports directly to the Service Manager and Fixed Operations Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Have a "Customer first" and "Fix it right the first time" approach
  • Do everything in your power to make the customer's service experience as pleasurable as possible.
  • Address any circumstance or condition that compromises the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership or notify dealership management of it.
  • Educate the service employees how to respond appropriately to misunderstandings and complaints from customers.
  • Ensure that every service employee approaches every client with courtesy and respect.
  • Handle customer complaints that demand management's attention tactfully, promptly and with genuine concern for the customer's problem
  • Meet or exceed department sales objectives set by management
  • Review repair orders to ensure the final price matches the quoted price
  • Inspect every completed vehicle to ensure it is ready to be returned to customer
  • Know and understand the distributor's warranty policies and procedures
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications_**:
_

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License with recent drivers abstract
  • Able to establish and maintain good working relations with customers and staff by providing courteous, efficient and professional service.
  • Above average computer knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
