Important Information:
- able to filter/transfers calls
- strong vendor management skills
- comfortable working the reception desk as backup
- proficient MS Office skills to supposes the admin team with other computer admin tasks/reports,etc.


Job Summary:


There may be a requirement for extended hours depending on workload and or special projects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail including packages
  • Place mail in proper shelves for stores and internal departments.
  • Sort and separate nonsamples packages with samples packages that arrive for merchants, and place them on the appropriate shelves for internal delivery.
  • Add postage to outgoing mail using Canada Post machine ie: Canadian destinations and American destinations.
  • Should be able to lift heavy boxes up to 50 lbs.
  • Back up coverage of main lobby reception when needed.
  • Track mailroom supplies ie: stamps, envelopes, labels, etc.
  • Tracking, issuing and maintaining desk key inventory utilizing SC Logic system
  • Ship packages on a daily basis using FedEx Ship Manager Software.
  • Working with FedEx counterparts to track packages if they are lost and keep the Associate(s) updated.
  • Printing labels and getting mailbags ready for all stores biweekly.
  • Arranging for extra pickups by FedEx when there is a larger volume to be sent out.
  • Keep record of all sent packages up to 3 months with tracking information.
  • Order FedEx supplies when needed.
  • Is responsible for accurately tracking and reporting inventory, tickets, other admin services.
  • Supports with other administrative duties

Requirements:


  • Experience in administrative/office support
  • Previous experience in mailroom service
  • Excellent customer Service skills
  • Printer service experience
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Familiar with using computer system
  • Good in using Microsoft office
  • Able to lift upto 50 lbs
