- DCM group is engaged in advising, structuring and originating debt securities across a broad range of public sector issuers Globally. The group is actively involved in executing investment grade transactions in both the public and private placement markets to institutional and retail investors in Canada.

How you'll succeed
- As an Associate, GSG
- DCM, you will work with and support senior origination professionals by:
- Working with government and a variety of sectors (SSAs)-
- Assisting in the structuring, execution and documentation of new issue debt transactions-
- Conducting credit analysis and financial modeling for prospective issuers-
- Coordinating the provision of new issue pricing information to clients (both in C$ and U$)-
- Preparing client presentations/pitches-
- Preparing and distributing communications regarding new bond transactions-
- Preparing transaction documentation and ensuring timely settlement-
- Monitoring the overall Canadian capital markets (flows, trends, funding opportunities)-
- Develop and maintain database for investor feedback related to new issues including reverse inquiries-
- Working closely with Trading, Strategy, Sales as part of the overall client coverage team-
- Working closely with offices in Montreal, New York, London and Luxembourg on client coverageWho You Are
- Education. You have an undergraduate University or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce or Mathematics-
- Work Experience. You can demonstrate minimum 3 to 6 years of related business experience is a requirement. It's an asset if you have experience in deal execution, DCM, and understanding derivatives-
- Technical Skills. Working knowledge and proven interest in pursuing a career in Capital Markets. Ability to prepare market analysis and documents to send to issuers on a daily basis along with excellent analytical and quantitative skills-
- Collaborative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external clients-
- Detail Oriented. Proven ability to pay close attention to detail and multi-task under tight deadline-
