Job Summary:
A Pipeline Cathodic Protection (CP) Surveyor will be an integral part of a nationwide effort responsible for the ongoing maintenance of our client's underground pipeline systems.
As part of our summer student program, this is an excellent opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in pipeline surveying, and for kickstarting your career in the oil and gas industry.

April/May September 2024
Essential Responsibilities
- Travel to various locations and assist senior survey technicians to conduct survey on the pipeline rightofway.
- Operate and maintain light duty vehicles in compliance with Ledcor's policies and procedures.
- Learn to operate surveying equipment to locate and stake pipelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data collection.
- Maintain and organize survey equipment and materials.
- Ensure all equipment calibrations, when required, are completed at specified intervals.
- Operate ATV/UTV/snow mobile as required.
- Actively implement Ledcor and client's health, safety and environmental program to daily work.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in surveying and the oil and gas industry.
- Must possess and maintain a clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with walking 5+ kilometers a day in rough terrain.
- Must be able to work as directed and under supervision.
- Must successfully complete preaccess drug and alcohol testing.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Modified twoweek shift schedule, overtime and weekend work may be required:
Week 1:
Monday to Friday 9 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday off
Week 2:
Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday off
- There is a possibility of frequent overnight stays away from the base of operation, with liveoutallowances or accommodation provided.
