Product Owner, End-to-end Visibility - Montréal, Canada - Intelcom
Description
Ride the next mile with us- Reporting directly to the Director, End to End Visibility Platforms, the Product Owner, End to End Visibility Platforms will be responsible for developing the company's technology platforms used to manage the relationships Intelcom forges between its Clients, Consignees and IDCs. These platforms include various inhouse CRMs and sophisticated notification systems.
In addition to this, we want visibility to equate with proactivity to allow our Intelcom staff to leverage the platforms built to inform our stakeholders when delays or issues occur.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture, document and prioritize product requirements with stakeholders;
- Provide visibility and guidance to management on the EndtoEnd Visibility Platforms roadmap implementation progress;
- Maintain a healthy backlog of features and experiments;
- Work closely with assigned multifunction teams (product management, software development, operations, finance, etc.) to ensure we're building the best products;
- Perform product demos;
- Investigate inefficiencies in our systems / processes and suggest improvement opportunities;
- Help support effort to identify and remove technical debt in our existing systems
- Act as a SME on products in place;
- Act as a leader within a crossdisciplinary scrum team
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent practical experience;
- 3+ years product management and passion to solve user problems;
- Certified as Scrum Master or PMP (asset);
- Experience in the Logistics Sector
- Experience working with CRMlike platforms
- Experience with key product management, agile development principles;
- Experience delivering complex technology products which require attention to detail;
- Strong understanding of modern development practices and planning processes;
- Exceptional organizational, analytical and problemsolving skills;
- Demonstrated ability to define, measure and analyze processes to identify improvement opportunities;
- A strong taste for innovative projects and a will to learn new technologies / test out new ideas
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and common development paradigms (git, APIs, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform suite (asset)
- Solid documentation skills and backlog grooming skills
- Ability to drive the team to success and create bonds with developers, QA, etc.
