The successful candidate must be based out of or willing to relocate to Kitimat, British Columbia , as the standard shift for this role is Monday thru Friday.
Service, inspection, assembly, and testing of relief valvesService, inspection, assembly and testing isolation & control valves
Field service work will be required in peak seasons in shop plant or in mobile on-site service unit
Ability to work overtime when needed to meet customer requirements
Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation
Participate in Quality Program and ensure industry/ company requirements are always met or exceeded
960 logged hours of in-house relief valve training, as per ABSA, would be an asset
~ Prior experience in servicing of industrial ball, gate, globe, plug and control valves would be an asset
~ Preference will be given to candidates with prior valve and testing experience
~ Driver's License - Minimum Class 5 with clean abstract
~ Commercial Driver's License considered an asset
~ Prior experience operating a boiler, would be an asset
~ Prior Instrumentation experience would be an asset
~ Basic machining experience, would be an asset
~ SAP experience considered an asset
~ Solid keyboarding and computer skills
~ This position has been deemed as Safety Sensitive - successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment Alcohol and Drug test, and as required for customer site access.
