Your mission as the Tool Cleaner is to help assist our Maintenance team.

Responsibilities

Tool removal from extrusion lines
Die & Calibrator disassembly, cleaning and assembly
Tool set up on extrusion lines
Use knowledge of mathematics and properties of raw materials to ensure tools & equipment is being used.
Use appropriate measurement instruments, such as protractors, micrometers, scribes, and others to ensure accuracy of parts.
Adhere to assembly and installation instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications.
Identify any problems found in machines, equipment, or processes to facilitate production.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable in extrude hone, media, blasting dies, extruder screws, mandrel setting, milling, surface grinding and small lathe operations an asset
Knowledge of tooling and the properties of metal, alloys and other similar materials.
Knowledgeable of the extrusion process.
Knowledgeable of production process, material costs and quality assurance.
