We are currently seeking an
In-Service Support Manager
to join our team in St. John's, NL.**
Responsibilities:
  • Execute life
  • cycle management on a variety of platforms including missionized aircraft operated by the organization
  • Responsible to develop a strategic perspective / plan to continually advance PAL Aerospace In-Service Support operations for improvement, growth, and capture of future opportunities
  • Responsible to lead an effective risk management program, identifying and mitigating all risks for In-Service Support operations
  • Work with Production, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations and Software Depts to coordinate hardware and software development activities for aircraft and mission system equipment
  • Plan and execute the inservice support scheduling activities for aircraft, components and mission system equipment deliveries and installation
  • Spare parts management, including analysis to identify the type and quantity of all parts required
  • Obsolescence management including monitoring and reporting. Ensuring that obsolescence is managed as an integral part of design, development, production, and inservice support
  • Incident management, support to aircraft and mission critical systems ensuring availability
  • Plan and coordinate upgrades and modifications for customer aircraft to maintain service levels with mínimal disruption to service
  • Customer liaison for all inservice support inquiries, reporting, task coordination and deliveries
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to generate quotes, Statements of Work, and support/service level agreements and contracts
  • Communicate effectively to various stakeholders in situations involving technical problems, processes and solutions
  • Travel as required, up to a maximum of 20% per annum
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of (5) years of direct work experience in technical and/or aerospace project management is preferred
  • Project management certification and PMP certification is considered an asset
  • Skills in personnel management, supervision, and budgeting are a plus for keeping deadlines and budgets on track
  • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple inservice support development activities
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods
  • Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, including technical, professional, and senior management
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, technology management, and internal controls
  • Strong problemidentification and problemresolution skills
  • Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
