Mississauga, ON.


The Computer Aided Support Specialist Liaison supports 2D /3D CAD Tools interoperability with regards to the Tekla and AutoDesk products and their integration with document management systems.


Your role within the team:

System level activities required to support the following products: Tekla and AutoDesk Plant 3D.


This includes items such as:

  • Participate in software certification, User Acceptance Testing and delivery processes, ensure issues are communicated to developers and software vendors as needed.
  • Provide user support for: Tekla and Autodesk products.
  • Maintain Tekla / AutoCad Plant borders security identifiers.
  • Resolve software installation issues.
  • Liaise with external vendors including IT developers to investigate unusual problems with software releases/ hardware issues, or to receive assistance with hardware and peripheral malfunctions.
  • Develop/Review Tekla specifications.
  • Customize Tekla 3D Catalog; Support 3D Modeling and train users as required.
  • Establish and document work processes.
  • Liaise with end users to define and implement enhancements.
  • Monitor disk space and system resources and communicating issues to Engineering Tools.
