- Comprehension in the CEC Safety Codes and Ensuring safe work practice, policies, and procedures are followed at all times
- Quoting new projects and work with client requests
- Read and Interpret blueprints, diagrams, electrical drawings, take-offs, and schematics to construct electrical systems
- Electrical Engineering knowledge and or experience in working with residential and commercial services
- Identify material quantities needed for jobs
- Installs, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, conduit / cable equipment, apparatus, and fixtures using hand and power tools
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical equipment
- Documentation of all programming changes is a core competency.
- Follow building regulations
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Communication skills both verbally and written
- Multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Must be willing to work independently as well as working cooperatively in a team environment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Electrical License in the province of Ontario
