Location: 514 Carlingview Drive. Etobicoke Ontario, M9W 5R3
Full-time Shift: Saturday to Wednesday, 10pm to 6am preferred or 12:30am to 8:30am
Wage:
$20.75/ hour plus $1.00 night shift premium
POSITION:
Team Member - Quality Control - Night Shift
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Conduct foreign material and GMP audits which can contribute to potential contamination
- Conduct process and quality checks (i.e. printing, kwik lok coding, right packaging, batch #, physical parameters, product consistency) on the line from mixing to shipping area
- Conduct metal detector checks
- Verify line operating standards compliance
- Retain samples
- Report any deviation and assist in Hold & Release procedure
- Participate in complaints and/or nonconformance investigations
- All other duties as assigned
ABOUT YOU:
- Post secondary in a food safety/ quality related program.
- 0 to 1 years experience in a quality control food manufacturing.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong oral and written communication in English
- Ability to partner with all levels of production from Operators to Supervisors
- Flexible and willing to work overtime where require
