    AP/AR Accounting Department

    Maintain and update the Delegation of Authority limits in SAP, Track and Maximo.

    Manage workflows and adjust staffing appropriately to accommodate volumes.

    Approve monthly account reconciliations.

    Lead the global design and implementation of the cash receipt and payments processes.

    Develop and maintain Cenovus policies for temporary delegations of authority.

    Lead the identification and implementation of process improvements.

    Be a strategic partner with multiple functions including Credit Department, Treasury and the Accounts Payable team.=


    Design and manage compliance with Cenovus internal controls over financial reporting as it relates to the cash receivable and payments function.


    Actively participant in/coordinate corporate initiatives that impact cash – receipts and payments (Bank initiatives, retail credit card process changes, Delegation of Authority updates).

    Manage the team budget for headcount, training and development and team building.

    Accounting Designation or Business Degree in related field.

    Minimum 10+ years of relevant work experience

    SAP system experience required.
