The Men's design team is a diverse team of creative and strategic thinkers, who are future thinking, detail-orientated and solution focussed.

They are at the forefront of Men's activewear and aware of macro lifestyle and fashion trends and how this relates to the active industry.

a day in the life:


  • Under the Creative Direction of the SVP of Design, assist the LTT & Hike Design team with design tasks: research, technical updates, style changes(core/seasonal), updates through changes tracker, organizing design boards, updating trims/code files, helping with ideation, sketching, mood and fabric boards as needed
  • Act as Design support be the Designer's right hand person to help ease daytoday tasks
  • May be allocated entry level designs and lift seasonal styles to progress their skills
  • Presentation preparation support the Designer/Senior Designer in preparation for major gates
  • Partner with the inhouse workshop to create mockups and prototypes
  • Build flat drawings and line overviews as directed by the Designer/Senior Designer
  • Build initial technical sketches and maintain the original design sketch during sampling stage through to the buy
  • Support in colour work creating colour overview pages, building colour legends and requesting lab dips
  • Be present for all fitting and design/product meetings to capture feedback and actions
  • Ensure all communication is flowing to the correct people
  • Liaise between design and store regarding design feedback store shift and design forum
  • Support the Designer with the initial setup, maintenance and updating of "Why We Made This" files
  • Ability to travel to offshore factories and on inspiration trips as needed
  • Any other duties as required

Qualifications:


  • 02 years minimum industry experience is required
  • BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent)
  • Expert in Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Excel, Word, Mac platform
  • An understanding in 3D design would be a benefit
