Multicrete Systems Inc., headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a leader in the Shotcrete and Concrete industry and we are now looking to expand by adding a new member to our Corporate Group.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Continue the development and implementation of the safety program in compliance with each province's regulations.
- Complete safety packages for contracting projects (ex: Safe Work Plans, JHA's, etc.);
- Enter safety data into contractor's programs to ensure compliance (Ex: Avetta, ISNET, etc.);
- Visit potential project sites to do a safety assessment;
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety;
- Act as a resource for branches safety program implementation;
- Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters or accident prevention;
- Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions;
- Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes;
- Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures;
- Report on health and safety awareness, issues, and statistics.
Qualifications and Skills
- 57 years' experience in a Safety Manager for a heavy construction company;
- Postsecondary diploma specializing in safety and health is considered an asset;
- Hold a NCSO/HAS designation is considered an asset;
- Must have knowledge of current Workplace Safety & Health Regulations;
- Previous experience working for a company who did contracting on mines is an asset;
- Ability to train Common Core for Ontario is an asset.
- Able to travel across Canada.
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs.
- Knowledge of COR Safety is an asset;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workloads while thriving in a fastpaced environment.
- Must hold a Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
