SUMMARY:


Our Logistics Coordinator position plays an integral role as part of a team dedicated to the organization and delivery of our day-to-day operations.

This role also has the responsibility of communicating with clients, delivery teams and customers.

This role also includes generating and reviewing different reports and trackers to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently through good planning and organizational skills, as well as a high standard of customer service.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Communicate and coordinate with delivery teams, clients, and customers to ensure operational excellence on a daytoday basis.
  • Ensuring Delivery partners are adhering to both client's and Metro's SOP/KPI requirements.
  • Generate and review reports to identify trends and gaps for continuous improvement of KPI and delivery team's performance.
  • Collaboration, development and updating all delivery training materials and improvement programs.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to resolve customer escalations and troubleshooting problems.
  • Create and maintain excel trackers for special accounts, important orders, etc.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments of the company to assist with order status, escalated deliveries and product or property damage claims.
  • Perform other tasks as needed as they pertain to our daytoday operations.

EXPEREINCE:


  • Proficient in excel
  • Using Excel for process improvement and Tracking efficiency.
  • Experience with building truck routes, specifically pertaining to 2 person, big and bulky home deliveries.
  • Experience in logistics/supply chain.
  • Excellent Customer service experience.
  • 12 years of admin/coordinator experience.
  • Appliance delivery experience would be an asset.
