Family Medicine Clinic is looking for an experienced
Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive health care to clients and patients of all ages within the R.N.'s scope of practice according to the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Practice.

Duties:

Patient Placing
Blood Pressure and other clinical measurements
Providing support to Physicians in the Clinic, as required
Assist in referring clients to specialists, hospital and/or community agencies as needed
Assisting with allergy testing under physician supervision
Reception duties when needed
Other duties as advised by Supervisor or designate

Qualifications:
-
Current PSW qualification and designation:

Experience in community health and/or family practice setting
Clinical practice experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency using computers and Electronic Medical Records (Telus PS Suite EMR)
Flexibility to work some evenings
Bilingual English-French is an asset.

This is a Part-Time position that may lead to Full-Time based on performance.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 18-38 per week

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
