The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Director, Corporate Strategy & Innovation, this role is responsible for leadership and oversight of the Information Technology (IT) Operations team.

This team is responsible for providing excellent customer service as the first point of contact for all IT issues for Town staff and members of Council, and triaging issues to the appropriate IT member.

The Supervisor oversees asset management of all IT hardware from procurement through to disposal.

The Supervisor ensures that the Town's IT Infrastructure is secure and can support the needs of the organization now and in the future.

It is expected that the Supervisor works collaborately with the Supervisor, Data and Applications to deliver on the IT Strategic Plan objectives.

As the Supervisor, IT Operations, you will perform the following duties, including but not limited to:

Lead Incident Response for IT, in response to cyber incident
Oversee service desk as first point of contact and resolve any escalated issues
Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned
Leadership and staff development within IT Operations
Supervise inhouse and contracted staff assigned to perform work and activities as defined herein.
Technology architecture planning and implementation, including budgeting, financial and asset management related to the hardware
Identify inefficiencies and work with team members to solve them

This position offers a salary range of $93, $114,990.67 plus a competitive benefit package.
