An opportunity to join our growing team has become available and we are currently seeking a Shipper.


Main Duties

  • Pack parts appropriately and shipped on time according to the customer's requirements
  • Create labels and prepare shipping documentation for domestic and international papers
  • Assist in wrapping and packing parts appropriately as per the customer's requirements
  • Load and offload shipments safely
  • Move product safely within the plant and between buildings
  • Handle incoming and outgoing parts safely and with care to avoid damage or injury
  • Practice good housekeeping
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required
  • Understand and perform tasks according to the Shipping Work Center Process
  • Work in different WorkCentre when necessary
  • Operate forklift when necessary

Skills and Attributes

  • Forklift certified
  • Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
  • Understands shipping procedures and documentation
  • Knowledgeable of packing materials and techniques
  • Strong numeracy; accuracy with numbers and words
  • Great attention to detail, be proactive
  • Works independently with limited supervision
  • Able to follow instructions both written and verbal
  • Commitment to Quality and Safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Day shift: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Full Time Permanent

Pay:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour
