We are currently hiring for the position of:

ADMIN COORDINATOR, GROUND TRANSPORTATION


The Admin Coordinator, Ground Transportation will provide administrative support to the Ground Transportation team including assistance with planning and support of Ground Transportation operations, training, and internal team communications and documentation.

This position will indirectly supervise volunteers, Airport Greeter Supervisors, and Festival Drivers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Shall include but not be limited to:_
Provide administrative support to the Ground Transportation team Create and distribute schedules, tracking documents, and others as required Liaise with TIFF departments to obtain requirements for ground transportation resources and supplies Organize, inventory and track ground transportation supplies, as well as acquire and deploy supplies when needed Update or create training and orientation presentations and materials as required Assist with team training and site visits to airports Assist with daily communications within the Ground Transportation team Support Manager, Ground Transportation with projects and deliverables Contribute to daily Festival reports and provide a detailed postmortem report Execute the highest service standards, policies, and procedures for TIFF Other duties as assigned
RATE OF PAY:
  • $22.00/Hourly
    WORK LOCATION:
Office Location: 350 King Street West, Toronto, ON M5V 3X5 Weekly in office requirements:
  • Minimum 2 days (November to May)
Minimum 3 days (June to October) Festival Office Requirements: Full Time during Festival

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum two years' experience in an administrative or office environment
  • Previous experience with live events and/or festivals
  • Strong organizational capabilities; detailoriented; able to multitask effectively
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure and facing deadlines
  • Exceptional and demonstrated background in customer service
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google, and CRM programs
  • Previous experience in ground transportation, travel, and/or hospitality is an asset
  • Fluency in multiple languages considered an asset
  • Knowledge of traffic routes, local roads, hotels, and airports is an asset
  • Working in an office environment and on a computer for several hours
  • Working with deadlines and under pressure
  • Adaptable to a flexible work schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
