SUMMARY:

The _
Quality Manager _ is responsible for the development, implementation, and strict adherence to a quality program.

He or she develops and/or reviews standards, policies, and procedures for all functions and departments involved with or related to the production of all products.

The position reports directly to the President, is a member of the executive leadership team, and works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and
Customer Service.

The _
Quality Manager_ is a builder who thrives on establishing processes to guide the quality activities of the Company, while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement from the ground up.

DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bring together the quality activities of all manufacturing segments for overall planning and priorities in line with the objectives of the Company
Review and resolve quality control problems/concerns with the quality team and others including vendors, customers, quality control personnel, and any personnel related to production
Lead team to improve quality control and quality assurance procedures including documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
Coordinate and lead audits with various OEM customers
Develop and fortify existing quality inspection requirements based on specific part standards, as defined by internal engineering and customer criteria
Ensure collaboration between quality team and other departments throughout the organization
Enhance and manage internal/external corrective and preventive action processes
Working with internal teams to enact vendor quality improvement initiatives
Coordinates and assists with vendor inspections and product inspections, as necessary
Coordinate between quality teams in Canada and Overseas

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality leadership role in a Manufacturing setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
Indepth understanding of quality procedures
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools and quality related software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

BA or BS in appropriate discipline
Experience with QA measuring and testing equipment
Strong knowledge of quality systems, processes, standards, etc.

Starting salary of $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience o Annual bonus of 15% based on performance metrics
