Must be at least 18 years old

The Material Handler (Tier 1) will work as a team with other Material Handlers, Non-Inventory Receivers and Procurement Ops Analyst(s) to administer the flow of non-inventory goods; including MRO supplies, packaging supplies, gift wrap, safety equipment, tools and reusables.

Key job responsibilities

  • Maintaining appropriate levels of shipping supplies in minimarkets/WIP and supermarkets.
  • NI Re-Usable Material handling (GoCarts, yellow totes, black pallet sleeves, etc)
  • Transport of consumables, corrugate, pac supplies from dock area to supermarkets using VRC, pallet jacks and EPJ's.
  • Organization of packaging supplies in markets/minimarts
  • Empty pallet and corrugate banding removal from markets/minimarts
  • Assures the delivery of expensed or capital items to the appropriate location or parties.
  • Perform accurate daily counts on all corrugate and PAC supplies
  • Operate PIT Equipment (Forklift/Reach Truck/Walkie)
  • Off load, store, inspect, and verify receipt of Non-Inventory products against bill of lading and purchase order
  • Organize and maintain all Non-Inventory items through the use of 5S techniques
  • Perform yard walks as needed to verify trailers in the yard
  • Support Non-Inventory department with any activities when required
  • Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training Material Handlers and verifying SOP compliance
