As an Intern, Independence and Ethics your responsibilities will include:

Assist the National Independence and Ethics team in administering the firm's Annual Confirmation & Consent process including reconciling information, updating documentation as directed and following-up on non-responses
Assist the team to obtain CPAB waivers for newly promoted partners
Assist the Manager, National Quality to improve processes related to the relationship checking procedures
Add new investment entries to Global Independence System (GIS) database and make updates for name changes
Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion
Perform other jobrelated duties as required

Actively pursuing a postsecondary degree/diploma in a related field
1+ years of work experience in roles specifically requiring strong attention to detail
Comfortable using publicly available information to perform research
Technical proficiency with MS Suite (word, excel, visio and power point)
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to comfortably and effectively interact with all colleagues
Flexibility to handle changing priorities, prioritize tasks and adapt to evolving policies and procedures in a deadline driven environment
Strong team player with the ability to execute instructions
Available to accommodate additional work hours on occasion, in response to operational requirements
